WebProvider must contact primary ETQA with regard to extension of scope (through SETA ETQA MoU) to merSETA programme (trade or qualification or individual unit standard). The ETQA will inturn send the request to merSETA. The applicant will send back the documents to merSETA and a Quality Assuror will be assigned. WebAssessment against individual unit standards will therefore take place in the workplace in terms of the assessment policy of the Services SETA ETQA. The SGB encourages assessment to take place at the lowest possible level.
