WebNote that, unlike ZFS and Btrfs, by default the ReFS volume does not sit directly on the physical disk pool. It sits on a virtual disk (storage space) that in turn sits on the pool. Also, parity is set at the virtual disk level, while checksumming is performed at the ReFS volume and above levels.
