Webb15 juni 2012 · Rebuilding radiators is becoming a lost art. There used to be a dozen shops within 20 miles. Now there is only one. Most of them were regulated right out of business. They are easier to build in china and charge you $500-$700. That is why if I find a good one I keep it for future builds. Open the bleed valve, so all the remaining water leaks out. Wrap plumber’s tape around the “male” end of the valve to make a seal. Tighten up the nut again, and open the bleed and lockshield valves.
