You could somehow have disabled sound in the VST or might be trying to play notes outside the range of the VST instrument. Webb12 nov. 2024 · In my experience when Reaper is disrupted from closing down, and a crash will satisfy that, failing to save on exit will wipe the settings. I've seen Reaper refuse to play before. In fact my Reaper is now in that state. It acknowledges the play button, goes into play state, but the play cursor doesn't move and no sounds come out. WebbWhen I launch reaper, put midi track in record, it doesn't ever work. So I unplug and replug the usb from back of keyboards, then I have a shortcut button to "reset midi devices" (without shortcut you do it in preferences). Then they work. I do this several times per day.
