WebNov 25, 2024 · Pace began in 1985 with one center in Jacksonville, which served 10 girls. Today, Pace includes 21 centers throughout Florida, which serve more than 3,000 girls. Since its inception, the organization has impacted more than 40,000 girls. WebPace Center for Girls, Marion, will have normal hours on Tuesday, Sept. 27, but will follow the lead of Marion County Public Schools and close on Wednesday, Sept. 28 and Thursday, Sept. 28, in order for our girls and families to stay safe through Hurricane Ian. We anticipate reopening on Friday, Sept. 30 but will have updates following the storm.
