WebMar 14, 2024 · Of the cold blues, I find that Brownell's Dicrophan T4 most closely matched modern hot salts bluing. Most cold blues are blue, and really don't darken enough. T4 is a Black color that does blend in very well. In addition, T4 is probably the most durable of the cold blues I've used. Note that NO cold blue is going to be really durable.
