WebMay 12, 2024 · Like Myles, I don't set a Rega type tonearm using the floating method, (i have done but don't like the method) or the calibrated dial, set to zero, I just set using the counterweight as normal, the Michell counterweight is particularly nice to use when setting up and generally add alot less bias. WebSep 2, 2024 · My current dual-tonearm setup on the P8 (stock tonearm w/Rega tungsten counterweight and a Goldring 2500 cartridge, RB600 tonearm w/Michell counterweight and Zyx R100 Yatra cartridge on an Acoustand Tonearm Pod - a highly recommended product BTW) works best with the Origin Live platter mat.
