It doesn't creep and it works very well to allow the pump to work at full capacity without loading it up with pressure. Stick with 3/8' and you will be ok.

WebNov 21, 2009 · First ran it with dead head regulator, holley reg, sumped the tank, and ran it with a bypass host going back into the top of the tank. Problem was that the fuel pump was bypassing too much fuel and causing problems such as fuel areation, pump overheating (a lot) and I felt that it was louder/buzzier with a dead heg.
