Web12 mei 2014 · I had remembered Disabling it the night that I got my M8, and I was surprised that it was active. I clicked on the app and noticed that the Disable button was Grayed-Out. I did at least hit the Force-Stop button. As soon as I Force Stopped the Sprint Connections Optimizer, the WiFi came back on and reinabled itself.
