Best way to deal with it is to position yourself where the monster is going to be, so that by the time it gets there, you are already charged up and ready to hit with you best attacks.

Someone probably figured that they should make it a slay quest since it technically isn't possible, so if I'm not mistaken, we now have the first quest in the history of the series that can be failed via capture. He's probably the monster I've fought the most in 4U, simply because I have the shittest luck when it comes to reactors (And I'm up to 32 Palliums!).
